Tickets are now on sale for the Come on Home 2005—$10,000 Grand Prize Give-Away. The Boys & Girls Club will be hosting an event benefiting the youth in our community. This event will be held at Cliffbreaker’s Restaurant, on Friday, Sept. 16, 2005. The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., followed by the cash draw down. As soon as the “Big Winner” is determined, Rockford’s No. 1 dance band, “Clutch Cargo,” will entertain until 12:30 a.m.

“This event will give all of us an opportunity to have a great time, win some cash, and help the Boys and Girls Club Association of Rockford continue their very important work”, says Rich Gambini, past events organizer for Crimestoppers.

Only 300 tickets will be available at a cost of $150 per ticket. Each ticket includes dinner for two and a chance to win cash prizes totaling more than $12,500 in the draw down, which has the grand prize of $10,000. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE by calling the Boys and Girls Club Administration Office at 815-972-5973. Advance ticket purchases only.

All proceeds will go directly to benefit the youth in our community, through the programs and activities offered by the Boys & Girls Club, operating five clubs and serving over 7,000 kids with a fun, safe, clean place. The clubs offer programs that emphasize character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, sports, and fitness and recreation.
