“Let All Hearts Beat as One,” an unprecedented ecumenical gathering for Earth Day, will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Regent’s Hall, Rockford College.

Everyone in our community is invited to affirm our common ground and our hopes through music, image, dance, and prayer in this creation-centered celebration. This ecumenical gathering welcomes people of all faiths. The group will gather at 7 p.m. at Rockford College’s Burpee Center lobby, discovering the work of environmental groups. At 7:30, they will ascend the stairs to Regent’s Hall and they will celebrate God’s gift of creation, grieve, and discover the power of healing. There is hope and creativity in our coming together. There is no charge; those who wish may contribute to a free will offering. This event is sponsored by Forest City Center and Rockford College.
