What a difference a week makes.

After starting the season with back-to-back losses, the Rockford IceHogs were able to bounce back this past weekend with two big wins.

Friday night, Oct. 20, the Quad City Mallards came to town. The ’Hogs were able to take out some of their early-season frustration on their Western Conference rivals—they beat the ducks 6-1.

Saturday night, Oct. 21, the team traveled to Bloomington for its first road game of the year, and came away with a 5-3 win over the Prairie Thunder.

The ’Hogs have two more road games this week before returning to the MetroCentre Saturday night, Oct. 28, for a game against the Chicago Hounds.

Tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 25), the team is in Flint, Mich., to take on the Generals for the first time this season. Friday night, Oct. 27, they travel to Fort Wayne, Ind., to try to avenge an opening-night loss to the Komets.

’Hogs fans unable to make the road trips can listen to all the action on WNTA 1330-AM. Tonight’s game begins at 6:15 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m. in Fort Wayne Friday night.

Saturday night’s game against the Hounds is also Maverick Media Night at the MetroCentre. The first 1,000 fans will receive a transistor radio courtesy of Maverick Media.
