Aldeen Men’s Golf Association looking for new members

Are you looking to play some competitive golf this season? If so, the Aldeen Men’s Golf Association (AMGA) may be just the group for you. The AMGA is looking for new members for the 2006 season. Members must be 21 years of age or older, and be an amateur as designated by the United States Golf Association (USGA).

The staff at the Aldeen Golf Club assigns team and individual matches every other weekend starting in April. The season continues through mid-October. The club is designed to not only be competitive, but also fun. Away from the course, the members get together to socialize at various events throughout the season.

An informational membership meeting will be next Tuesday, March 21. Meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Aldeen Golf Club, 1900 Reid Farm Rd., Rockford. If you are unable to attend the meeting and are interested in joining the AMGA, you can call 282-4653 for more information.
