Annual arthritis program Oct. 21 at NIU-Rockford

“Take Control” by marking your calendar for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, when the Arthritis Foundation presents its annual educational program for people with arthritis and related conditions.

This year’s event will be at NIU-Rockford’s Conference Center, 8500 E. State St., Rockford, a half mile east of the Clock Tower.

Prepare for an event-filled day of program speakers, demonstrations and exhibits. Let this be a one-stop resource center for current information about medical equipment/supplies, medications, rehabilitation services, technology in joint replacement surgery, physical activity and nutrition, home care, and more.

Registration is $15 per person or $25 per couple and includes lunch, program and materials.

For registration details, a program brochure or if special accommodations are needed, contact the Arthritis Foundation by calling 971-6380.
