The Barbara Olson Center of Hope will host the fifth annual Inspired to Paint Art Show from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30. The art show will be at Cliffbreakers (700 W. Riverside Blvd.) and will feature local artists Dick Benesh, Dan Branson, Dorothy Bock, Jeanne Coe, Ingrid Dohm, Karen Gines, Cora Hutchinson, Jim Kanas, Susan Mclaughlin, Sue Mount and Mary Rosandich.
Artwork by these professional artists will be available by silent auction. More than 200 pieces of inspired artwork that Barbara Olson Center of Hope participants created with the assistance of the participating local artists will also be displayed.
A spread of hot hors doeuvres will be served courtesy of the Bergstrom Incorporated Charitable Foundation.
Admission for the show is $10. Advance tickets are available at the Barbara Olson Center of Hope for $7. Call 964-9275 for more information.
The Barbara Olson Center of Hope is a not-for-profit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Rock River Valley. The Center, founded in 1948, is expanding its business divisions to allow for additional training for adults with disabilities. This training results in participants ability to work in one of the Centers businesses. Super Shredders, Moments Remembered, Hope Industries and GourMutts are all divisions of the Barbara Olson Center of Hope.
