National recording artist B.E. Taylor returns to Rockford to perform the “B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert” at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18 at Rockford Assembly of God, 5950 Spring Creek Rd.

Now in its 11th year, the “B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert” has generated rave reviews across the U.S., including the legendary Capitol Music Hall in Wheeling, W.Va., Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, and cities across the Midwest. The concert celebrates the true meaning of Christmas with music of the season, along with all the fun and joy that Christmas brings.

Sold-out audiences for the past 11 years are a testament to the passion fans have for B.E. Taylor’s talent. His two-hour concert features traditional holiday songs, transformed in Taylor’s unique style. His performances include an eight-member band, gospel choir and marching band.

Taylor has been a favorite for years on both the national and regional music scene, with three major-label albums in six years (two for MCA and one for Epic/CBS), several regional Top 10 hits, and two Billboard Top 100 hits with his release of “Karen” on Epic Records and “Vitamin L” on MCA records.

Taylor has performed on several national commercial spots, and with such legendary acts as Chicago, Todd Rundgren, Little River Band, Christopher Cross, the Beach Boys and more. His two Christmas CDs can be heard on radio stations nationally during the holiday season. In addition to other albums, he produced One Nation Under God, a collection of patriotic songs, for which he personally signed and sent 1,000 CD copies to troops stationed in Iraq.
