‘Bean-efit’ to support Easter Seals returns April 1

Easter Seals Children’s Development Center announces its Third Annual Jelly Bean Ball—Rockford’s only family-friendly, yet formal, fund-raising gala.

April 1, more than 400 guests of all ages and abilities will gather at Giovanni’s banquet facility, a new location for the event, to dine and dance to the tunes of Moonlight Jazz Orchestra, enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, laugh at caricatures by Mr. Mustache, bid on “Toys For All Ages” and more!

The ball’s major “Bean-efactor,” Rockford Health Systems, has pledged a generous $7,500, as well as The Morrissey Family Businesses sponsoring $5,000 toward the event.

CandyWorld is the theme of this all-ages event—changing lives of local children is money well spent! Event co-chairmen Carina Ferrara-Furst and Erica Fischer urge everyone to purchase their tickets early as the event is sure to sell out. Call 815-965-6745 or e-mail cberg@il-rk.easterseals.com for ticket information. More information is available at www.eastersealsrockford.org.
