The airwaves of the stateline will be filled with excitement March 29-31 as Beloit Regional Hospice is celebrating 21 Years of Radiothon.
In celebration of its 21st anniversary, Beloit Regional Hospice will be live on the air at Culvers of Beloit, 2676 Cranston Rd. The Culvers of Beloit will donate $1 to Beloit Regional Hospice for every dinner sold during Radiothon, which includes all fish, chicken and shrimp dinners.
Aside from teaming up with Culvers, WGEZ Radio 1490-AM in Beloit and WCLO Radio 1230-AM in Janesville will cover Radiothon 2004. Coverage will begin with WGEZ at 6-10 a.m., March 29-30. WCLO will continue the coverage Wednesday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to noon. During this time, interviews with several board members, staff, community supporters, family members and volunteers will be featured.
Pledges can be made at the Culvers restaurant, where people can also meet staff and enjoy refreshments. Every person who stops at Culvers during Radiothon and makes a $25 pledge will receive a Beloit Regional Hospice cookbook (supplies limited). Call in pledges, which can be made in honor of loved ones, to 608-363-7421.
