Beloit Regional Hospice offers training for prospective volunteers

Beloit Regional Hospice will be offering an eight-week training program for prospective volunteers. Hospice volunteers are an integral part of the team of professionals who specialize in caring for the terminally ill and their families. As a hospice volunteer, you may choose to provide comfort and support to patients, respite and bereavement services to families, clerical support services at the Beloit Regional Hospice office, or help with fund-raising and marketing activities.

All trainings will be held at the Beloit Regional Hospice offices at 655 Third St., Suite 200, Beloit, Wis. Wednesday morning and Thursday evening training sessions will be held beginning Jan. 18. To register for the training program or to discuss volunteer opportunities, contact Sherrie at (608) 363-7421.
