Tom Little, past president of Sinnissippi Audubon Society, will host a Bird Walk May 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Klem Arboretum.
Amuse yourself and your friends with bird watching skills you acquire in this class. Using handouts, bird lists and in-the-field experience, Tom Little will share his tips and tricks of bird watching including where and how to look for birds, quick identification tricks, binocular use and a discussion of field guides. This is the best time of the year and the best weekend to see many of the more than 300 species of birds that have been seen in Winnebago County, and Klehm is a great place to see them. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. Dress for the weather!
Cost is $18 for members, $21 for nonmembers. Deadline to register is April 30.
