Blood Center needs type B blood

The Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) is calling for type B blood donations.

Friday, July 2—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Rochelle Wal-Mart;

Tuesday, July 6—noon-4 p.m., AG Communication;

Tuesday, July 6—2-8 p.m., Petro Truck Stop in Rochelle;

Tuesday, July 6—3-7 p.m., First Congregational Church in Beloit.

RRVBC is the sole supplier of blood and related services to OSF Saint Anthony, Rockford Memorial, SwedishAmerican, Beloit Memorial, Freeport Health Network, Harvard Memorial, Memorial Community-Edgerton, Northwest Suburban Community and Rochelle Community hospitals.

RRVBC is open 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Fridays.
