Boone Co. Heritage Gardens program Sept. 15

Spend an evening with Roger Gustafson, who will speak about the Boone County Conservation District Heritage Gardens. These gardens represent four European immigrant gardens: Scottish, Norwegian, German and Yankee circa 1830-1860. A Potawatomi garden of the same time period also will be discussed.

The gardens were established 21 years ago by Gustafson. Artifacts will be displayed. Instructor is Roger Gustafson, past executive director of the Boone County Conservation District. Fee: $18 for members, $21, non-members. Deadline for registration is Sept. 5, 2003.

To register for classes, call Klehm Arboretum at 965-8146.
