Bourbon Street hosts Sept. 11 appreciation

JT’s Bourbon Street Grille will host a public service appreciation day in commemoration of September 11. We are welcoming all firemen, policemen, hospital personnel and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) to JT’s for a special buffet featuring the restaurant’s finest cuisine for $4, which includes beverages and appetizers.

This is a special dinner that Anthony S. Foreman, the proprietor, has observed annually since 2002, and is intended to express our warmest, heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of those who aid and assist the citizens of our community. This year, personnel from the City of Rockford, county and state, in addition to nursing home personnel have been included.

At 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, we will commence an “All-You-Can-Eat” dinner buffet, which will be comprised of traditional Southern as well as international cuisine, with Shepherd’s Pie as the featured dish. The general public may attend the buffet for $10. JT’s Bourbon Street Grille is at 1407 N. Main St. Call (815) 964-4400 for further details.
