The Boylan Key Club will sponsor a “Locks of Love” project on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003. Andrea Keller, owner of the Image Gallery, 120 W. Main St., Rockton, has graciously donated three stylists to cut nine volunteers’ hair. The stylists are Jennifer Novak, Amy Berry and Nancy Conrad. They have given nine spots from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“Locks of Love” is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 that donates hairpieces to children under the age of 18, who have suffered medical hair loss and cannot afford to buy hairpieces. Each piece is custom made from the 10 inches or more of hair that the donor gives to the foundation. Since its founding, “Locks of Love” has received a great deal of national publicity and has provided hairpieces to more than 800 underprivileged children.
