Boylan's Jordan Lynde to play tennis at Lewis

ROMEOVILLE—Boylan Catholic tennis standout Jordan Lynde has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Lewis University this fall.

A two-year letterwinner, Lynde won NIC-9 and sectional titles and advanced to the Class AA state tournament in No. 1 doubles her senior year. She earned a spot on the all-conference first team, was selected the Lady Titans’ Most Valuable Player, posted a 23-6 overall record, was unbeaten in conference play and won invitationals at Moline and Auburn that season.

Lynde claiamed the NIC-9 No. 3 doubles crown and was the LaSalle-Peru Invitational No. 2 singles champion as a junior, and she captured the league’s sophomore No. 1 singles championship her sophomore and freshman seasons.

Lynde also lettered three years in softball and was selected to the all-conference first team as a junior and senior. She was a three-time NIC-9 scholar athlete in both sports.

Lynde is the daughter of Joe and Bev Lynde of Rockford.
