Bubble festival set for March 19-20

Did you know bubbles could be made in the shape of a cube? In the shape of a solar system? Did you know bubbles could be made to spin like a tornado and erupt like a volcano? It’s all true, and internationally renowned bubble artist Tom Noddy will prove it during Discovery Center’s 2005 Bubble Festival, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20.

The two-day festival will feature performances by Noddy and an interactive bubble playground for families.

Noddy, who has been featured on numerous television shows, including three appearances on The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman, incorporates art and science in his bubble performances.

Show hours are 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19; and 1 and 3 p.m., Sunday, March 20. Cost is $4 public, $3 members in advance; $5 public, $4 members at the door.
