‘Burnout v. Grieveout’ program Jan. 29

The Alzheimer’s Association will present “Burnout versus Grieveout” from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 29 at St. Anskar’s Episcopal Church (4801 Spring Creek Rd., Rockford).

Bonnie Beam, program manager for the Alzheimer’s Association, and June Ehrler, L.C.S.W. for Unity Hospice, will address the types of losses that health care professionals and volunteers need to address to deal with grieveout.

The program is directed toward professionals and volunteers in the health care field as well as other interested individuals. Registration is required along with a fee of $10. Volunteers are welcome to attend at a reduced fee of $5. CEUs are available for Nursing Home administrators, Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Counselors at an additional cost of $10.
