n Easter egg hunts for kids set for Saturday, March 26
Saturday, March 26, the Burpee Museum of Natural History and Discovery Center Museum are teaming up to present an Old Fashioned Family Egg Hunt. All children, ages 1 through 9, are asked to bring their own baskets to hunt for plastic eggs filled with wrapped candy. The Easter Bunny will be hopping about to meet children from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Egg Hunts will be held at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before start times as the Egg Hunts will begin promptly at the posted times. Egg Hunts for children ages 1 to 4 will be held at a special toddler area at the Burpee, for children ages 5 and 6 on the Burpee lawn, and children 7 through 9 at the Discovery Center outdoor park. In between the Egg Hunts, both museums will offer an array of several springtime crafts.
Combined ticket admission that allows access to both museums for all events on March 26 is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Members from either Burpee or Discovery Center are free. Admission is possible from either entrance.
