BYRON—Mark your calendar now for the event of the summer! Join Byron Civic Theatre on the red carpet to celebrate the beginning of its landmark 10th anniversary season, during its annual Gala, Saturday, June 5 at 8 p.m. Each year, Byron Civic Theatre holds the annual Gala as its thank-you card to the community, sponsors and volunteers. The annual event is also the official kick-off of the new season and membership renewal drive.

The Gala will include scenes and musical numbers from the past season as well as taking a moment to honor volunteers, sponsors, and board members that helped build the quality of Byron’s community theater for the past nine years.

The evening’s entertainment will reveal the four shows BCT audiences have chosen to receive the celebratory red rose for its 10th season.

Also to be featured at this year’s Gala will be the announcement of BCT’s scholarship recipients, new board members and voting on bylaw changes.

Auditions for the first season will also be announced. Capping off all the festivities will be a free hors d’oeuvre and dessert buffet.
