Cervical chiropractic open house Feb. 14

Celebrating four years of upper cervical chiropractic in Rockford using the NUCCA procedure, 1st Step Chiropractic, and owner Dr. Philip R. Schalow, will be hosting a special open house on Feb. 14.

Dental surgeon and professor of physiology, Dr. Norman Thomas, of the University of Alberta says of upper cervical chiropractic, “it is absolutely astounding that the (first) vertebra can be so displaced that it doesn’t kill you and yet has diabolical effects; headache, TMJ, back pain, difficulty sleeping.”

In a groundbreaking study by George Bakris, M.D., and Bruce Bell, M.D., correcting the atlas misalignment using the NUCCA procedure reduces and maintains lower blood pressure as well as a two-drug protocol.

Louella Harris, of the National Awareness Campaign for Upper Cervical Care, a non-profit organization, enthusiastically declares that “everyone should get their atlas corrected before exploring other options such as drugs or surgery.”

As part of the celebration, Dr. Schalow will be having free screenings for the atlas misalignment, a food drive to benefit Rock River Valley Food Pantry, and a special discount for new patient services. Call 398-4500 to schedule your free screening.
