Cherry Valley Library seeks input through survey

The Citizens’ Study Group and the Board of Trustees for the Cherry Valley Public Library District are seeking public input and comment through a survey mailed to 5,000 households within the library district territory. The purpose of the survey is to educate and inform residents about the services of the library, while gathering preferences for present and future services for long-range planning. The survey, which takes 5 to 8 minutes to complete, may be mailed back to the library (postage free), dropped off at the library, or input over the library’s Web site, Citizens 18 and older are encouraged to return the survey, even if they do not use library services, so survey results are representative of the 17,000 residents. To encourage people to respond, the Friends of the Cherry Valley Library are offering a drawing for $100, $50, and $25 for prizes from area businesses.

Surveys should be returned by October 31. Library staff will compile results, which will be shared by the nine-member Citizens’ Study Group during an Open House at the Library, Nov. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Call 332-5161 if you did not receive a survey, or for any survey clarification or information.
