Children’s Theater Project: ‘Rocky Monster Show’

The children of Children’s Theater Project present the musical “The Rocky Monster Show” at 7 p.m., Oct. 30 and 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., Oct. 31. Performances will be held at Memorial Hall, 211 N. Main St.

“The Rocky Monster Show” is a children’s musical about Rocky Fenton, a rock star turned professor. Rocky finds out he has inherited the Frankenstein castle and decides to bring Elvis and the Superbs back to life with genetics and his computer.

The show is full of ’60s music and references to all your favorite Frankenstein movies. “The Rocky Monster Show” offers a great way to enjoy the Halloween season. Songs include “Professor of Rock and Roll,” “Flash Crash,” “Looking for Action,” “Doom,” “Lady Love,” and, of course, Elvis singing “A Hard Act to Follow.”
