Cider at Kryptonite Thursday

If you can’t wait for the official weekend to go out and experience the town you live in, check out Cider at Kryptonite Thursday, Oct. 9. Traveling from Orlando, Fla., the group is described as a “power pop” band, and it is touring to promote its latest album Sugarcoat. They have performed at President Bush’s Inaugural Celebration, MTV’s TRL Beach House Live, Nickelodeon’s Slime Time, and were the featured artists on The Mitch Albom Show. Cider consists of Kenny Beaumont (singer), Travis Wetherington (guitar/vocals), Ken Charton (guitar) and Ed Stork (drums). Their single “Lovely” has been given wide air play, and is also played at The GAP, Aeropostale and Fashion Bug every day. There will be a special guest yet to be announced.
