Community Foundation grant deadlines approach
Deadlines are approaching for a variety of grant programs offered by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
The In Youth We Trust Program deadline is Oct. 15. It funds projects created and carried out by youth.
The Margaret K. Aldeen Christian Ministry Fund deadline has been extended to Nov. 1.
The Community Arts and Humanities grants and the Community Needs grants deadlines are both Jan. 15.
A semi-annual meeting for grant seekers will be held at 4 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the Community Foundation, 946 N. Second St., Rockford. Organizations planning to apply for any grants during the coming year are encouraged to attend for information on grant writing and funding criteria.

The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois provides grants to charitable organizations in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson and Winnebago counties.
