Crusader Clinic is hosting it annual fund-raiser, An Evening in Autumn, Friday, Oct. 20, 6-10 p.m., at Giovannis, 610 N. Bell School Rd., Rockford. Cost of the event is $85 or $850 for a table of ten. The evening includes an autumn themed diner, announcement of the Spirit of Caring and Dr. Forrest Riordan awards, a fantastic silent and live auction and music by the MusicMakers. The live auction will feature a one-of-a-kind amethyst and diamond ring donated by B. Sanfield; an exquisite gourmet dinner for six prepared by Giovannis executive chef donated by Giovannis; a Chicago weekend package at the Seneca Hotel donated by the Seneca, John Kuss, Barbara and Mark Huffman; two round-trip tickets from Rockford to Las Vegas donated by Allegiant Air; two nights/three days at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee and a Fishing Charter for 4 on Lake Michigan donated by Dave Turiciano; childs golf cart (rechargeable) with clubs donated by Lexus of Rockford; dinner for four cooked in your home by Chef Jason donated by the University Club.
The raffle is a chance to win the grand prize, a 42-inch Hitachi Flat Screen Plasma TV donated by Riverside Community Bank; second prize is an IBM ThinkPad Laptop Computer donated by Rockford Information Technologies; the third prize is $1,000 cash donated by Crusaders Health Foundation Board members. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Crusaders Health Foundation Capital Campaign, Shaping the Future of Community Healthcare in Northern Illinois.
