Crusader Clinic is hosting its annual fund-raiser, An Evening in Autumn, from 6 to 11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, at Giovannis, 610 N. Bell School Rd. The evening includes an autumn-themed dinner, music by Mike Williamson Trio, silent and live auction and raffle. The Spirit of Caring award winners will also be announced. Tickets are $75 per person or $750 for a table of 10.
The live auction will feature a 14-karat yellow and white gold bracelet with diamonds donated by Zavius Jewelers; a weekend getaway at Lake Lawn, Delavan, Wis., donated by the Peter J. Roche Foundation; an exquisite gourmet dinner for six prepared by Giovannis executive chef, donated by Joe and Sue Castrogiovanni; a stainless steel grill donated by Benson Stone; and an original floral watercolor painting donated by artist Ingrid Dohm.
The raffle is a chance to win a five-day trip for two to New York City or $3,000 cash in lieu of the trip, donated by Riverside Community Bank; $1,000 cash donated by Crusaders Health Foundation Board members; and a JVC DVD player/recorder donated by American TV of Rockford. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased at the Crusaders Health Foundation, 1200 W. State St., Rockford.
Proceeds will benefit medical expansion projects and other needs at Crusader Clinic as designated by the Crusaders Health Foundation Board. For the past 32 years, Crusader Clinic has strived to ensure that all people in the community have access to quality, affordable primary health care. During the past 12 months, the clinic served the health care needs of more than 36,000 individual patients.
