Local Culvers Restaurants will each donate 10 percent of their revenue on Monday, Nov. 24 to Rockford Rescue Mission as part of Culvers National Day of Giving campaign.
The Rockford area community has been so receptive to the opening of our stores that we want to give back, and this is one way that we can do that, said David Koch, owner of the new Culvers Restaurant on State Street behind Walgreens as well as the Culvers on Harrison and on North Main. Culvers Restaurants on Riverside, in Roscoe and in Winnebago will also be participating.
Culvers Restaurants are perhaps best known for their ButterBurgersTM, made from a fresh, never-frozen ground chuck blend that is generally 5 to 10 percent leaner than the meat used in major fast food chains, and for their velvety smooth frozen custard made fresh all day right on the premises.
