The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois (CFNIL) grant applications have been put online.
Grant applications for the Community Needs Fund, the Community Arts and Humanities Fund and the United Cerebral Palsy of the Blackhawk Region Fund will be available at www.cfnil.org. The deadline for these grants is Jan. 15, 2006. The Community Foundation will no longer accept any hard copy applications. All applications must be received online.
We see this move to online applications as an efficient and convenient way for individuals and nonprofits to access our funds, said James Patterson, Program and Scholarship officer. The online applications will also help us to more effectively administer the grant process, benefiting everyone.
The foundation encourages people to visit their local libraries for Internet access to the applications. Questions can be directed to James Patterson at the Community Foundation at 962-2110, ext. 11.
