Discover 'the force' at Discovery Center June 24

The force will be with you if you visit Discovery Center, a Rockin’ Summer destination, as it hosts “Star Wars Jr. Jedi Academy” from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 24. The event is part of Discovery Center’s Summer Family Friday series.

Design a landspeeder and learn about lightsabers as you explore the galaxy at Discovey Center. Kids will love the special planetarium show and the chance to meet a storm trooper! Visitors are encouraged to wear Star Wars and alien costumes for the event.

The Family Friday series is sponsored in part by the Illinois Arts Council. Cost is included with general admission to the Museum—$5 for adults, $4 for children ages 2-17, and free to children younger than 2 years and Museum members.
