Discovery Center offers Summer Snoozin’ June 10

Get a jump start on summer with a “camp-in” at Discovery Center Museum Saturday, June 10. The event, Summer Snoozin’, is for campers who like adventure but don’t like bugs.

Fun begins after-hours for this family-oriented overnight experience. Explore exhibits and the outdoor science park, make something scientific to take home and see a live science demonstration.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, June 10, and goes through 9 a.m., Sunday, June 11. Summer Snoozin’ is geared for families with children ages 5 and older. Reservations are $15 per person and include programming, evening snack and breakfast. Call 963-6769 to make reservations.

General admission to the museum is $5 adults, $4 children (ages 2 to 17) and free to children younger than 2 and museum members. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m., Sunday.
