Downtown businesses host Music Walk July 9

Eight River District businesses host night of live music

Looking for a place to cool down on a hot summer night? Head to the downtown River District Saturday, July 9 for some fun and a cool Music Walk.

Cover price of $5 gets you into all participating MGD Live Music Walk establishments, and wristbands can be purchased at the front door of any participating venue the night of the event. Bands start at 9 p.m. Visit for the latest updates on the Walk.

Participating establishments and bands include the following, by direction:

East to west

Big Cities Lounge, 905 E. State St.— Civilian Vibe;

Rue Marché, 620 Market St.—Karaoke;

Irish Rose, 519 E. State St.—Goran Ivanovic and the Balkans Jam Band;

Brio@Bacchus, 515 E. State St.—Adem Tessay & the Full Rap Movement; and

Deb’s Little Italy, 501 E. State St.—Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames.

North to south

Swilligan’s, 200 N. Church—HMS Goliath;

Octane, 124 N. Main St.—Jonathan Kuss and the Corporation; and

Kryptonite, 308 W. State St.—Bottle of Justus and Brett Vogel.
