Downtown church re-enacts Nativity

“Bethlehem Journey,” a live re-enactment of the Christmas story, will be held outside of Court Street United Methodist Church, downtown, from 6 to 8 p.m., this Saturday, Dec. 16.

Come out on this December evening, park in the parking lot west of the church, and walk the block around the church to see live actors and shepherds, hear angels singing, and see a live manger scene. After your journey, come inside Court Street UMC for fellowship, to hear a flute choir and Christmas carols, and enjoy free refreshments. Admission is free as the church’s gift to the community.

Court Street UMC is at 215 N. Court St. in downtown Rockford, just one block north of the courthouse main entrance (or three blocks west of the river and one block north of West State Street).

Call the church office at 962-6061 for more information.
