Dr. Julia's Inn: Detoxification of parasites and candida

After many years of being in the field of helping people detoxify and rebuild their bodies through colon hydrotherapy, I have found many myths that need to be re-examined. My personal journey from poor health to optimum health always went back to the same answer. I personally was fortunate to have a bowel movement every 10 days.

I educated myself about leaky gut syndrome, and then I educated myself on yeast and candida infections. This opened up a whole new world for me: the parasite world. How could I have been lied to by medical professionals that we could not get parasites when I deworm my dog and my cat? This, I had a hard time believing. My education then led me to start doing colon hydrotherapy at such a young age.

I truly remember my first colon hydrotherapy session. I learned so much from the colon hydrotherapist that my medical doctor never told me. I could have stayed there for hours just talking to her. It was as if I finally found someone who believed I had health problems, and I could see the light at the end of a long, unhealthy life tunnel. I was 48 pounds overweight, had bad acne and vaginal yeast infections all the time, and just felt miserable.

What is candida?

Candida albicans is a common yeast that is in the digestive tract. If a person’s digestion is healthy, there is a healthier ratio of good bacteria vs. bad bacteria. Because of many modern-day factors, yeast can grow rapidly and then get out of the proper porportion. A yeast infection or a yeast overgrowth will carry disorders such as vaginal yeast infections, skin rash and skin problems, skin itching, constipation, bloating, and this list can go on and on and on.

With long-term infestation, yeast will shift to fungal form, which then develops roots and turns into rhizoids. This actually grows right into the intestinal wall. These rhizoids will cause the intestine to become porous and then allows toxins, undigested proteins, carbohydrates to flow through the bowel wall and be absorbed into the body and the bloodstream. This is what medical doctors will label Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Now, major health problems start. The immune system becomes hypersensitive to certain foods, for it is a vicious cycle of feeding the yeast and eating the foods that are high in yeast and sugars. The more you eat foods that are high in yeast and sugars, the more your immune system is weakened. These factors, combined with poor eating habits, stress and environmental toxins, then create an internal environment for parasites.

What is a parasite?

A parasite is a plant or animal that lives on or in another species and derives its sustenance from the host while contributing nothing to the host’s survival. Gosh, does that sound like someone you know? Human parasites are either microscopic or visible to the naked eye as hookworms, pinworms, tapeworms or roundworms. Both types of parasites coexist with yeast and find a happy home in your warm digestive and intestinal systems. People with weak immune systems and impaired digestive systems lack the proper digestive enzymes such as hydrochloric acid, which helps to kill parasites. Clinical research indicates where there is yeast, there are parasites.

What symptoms do micro-pests cause?

Parasites will cause weight gain, for you are not able to get any nutrients out of your foods.

Parasites will rob you of all the good nutrients and leave you feeling hungry.

As parasites die, they leave an ammonia smell and will cause gas and bloat.

Intestinal problems such as constipation and diarrhea will occur.

Joint and/or muscle pain

Frequent vaginal yeast infections

Difficulty sleeping

Dark circles under the eyes because of deficiencies

Brain fog

When I work with people with yeast and parasite issues, it is nothing for them to lose 22 to 25 pounds in two weeks. Here are some wonderful testimonies of people I have helped.

“My diabetes was actually caused by parasites. My medical doctor never educated me on diet and parasites, and when I went to him to find out why I was getting forgetful and brain fog, he told me that my blood sugar was too high and put me on medication. After reading [about] the side effects, I decided to work with Dr. Julia. She educated me on diet and pancreas, and informed me I was full of yeast and candida. After doing a parasite/candida cleanse and a colonic, I dropped 22 pounds and am feeling great.”—Kathy W.

“I purchased Ann Louise Gittleman’s herbal cleansing book and read about weight issues. Parasites made sense to me, for I was always hungry, but I travel a lot out of the country for my business. Gittleman’s book suggested that I find a colon hydrotherapist and start working on getting the critters out of my intestine wall. I was first very skeptical, but the pounds started melting off. Thank you, Dr. Julia.”—Bonnie A.
