Edwards: blessed by the Bilderbergers?

The New York Times mentioned it in passing in an article about Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards. Not too many noticed.

The Times article stated: “His performance at Bilderberg was important,” said a friend of Sen. John Kerry who was there. “He reported back directly to Kerry. There were other reports on his performance. Whether they reported directly or indirectly, I have no doubt the word got back to Mr. Kerry about how well he did.”

Who are the Bilderbergers, and why are they important? The Bilderberg group is one of several secret societies that influence world events. It is composed of about 120 of the wealthiest and most powerful men and women in the world.

The first meeting of the group was arranged by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands in 1952. It took place at the Bilderberger Hotel, a secluded site near the German border.

Bilderberger meetings are marked by unusual security. All participants are sworn to secrecy, and it is claimed that no written records of the meetings are kept, although evidence indicates otherwise.

These meetings include very prominent individuals in high finance, politics, academia, the media and wealthy industrialists.

The most recent meeting was in Stresa, Italy, in early June. It drew people like Richard Perle, Henry Kissinger, Melinda Gates and others.

Bilderbergers in the media include Peter Jennings of ABC, Bill Moyers of PBS, and William F. Buckley.

The purpose of the Bilderbergers is to advance the agenda of globalization, according to Who’s Who of the Elite.

Sen. Kerry is a member of Skull and Bones, a very secret organization at Yale University, as is George W. Bush and George H. Bush.

The point of this appearance is that when you control all the candidates, it doesn’t much matter who wins the election; either way, your side is victorious.

This time around, George W. Bush is not the favorite of the elites.

The Times wrote: “Mr. Edwards spoke so well in a debate on American politics with the Republican Ralph Reed that participants broke Bilderberg rules to clap before the end of the session.”

Exactly what will play out in November remains to be seen as the Bilderbergers do not reveal their script in advance. One thing is obvious, however; there is little real choice for the American voter as the elites and their secret societies have cornered the market on top level candidates.
