Enchante ‘Autumn in Paris’ raises more than $2,000 for United Way

Three local boutiques recently presented a check in the amount of $2,280 to United Way of the Rock River Valley. The money was raised at the first annual style show Enchante “Autumn in Paris,” held at the Clock Tower Resort’s elegant Bristol Room (formerly Figg’s Cafe) and was hosted by Carlotta’s at the Clock Tower, Rhomberg Fur & Leather Gallery and Sarah McClelland Apparel, Inc.

“We were looking for a way to showcase our fabulous fall fashions and benefit the community at the same time,” said Sarah McClelland of Sarah McClelland Apparel. “When we called United Way, we learned of the variety of programs they support throughout the community. We knew that we could do the most good with this relationship.”

United Way solves the community’s most pressing problems with innovative initiatives and dynamic partnerships with agencies and others. United Way annually raises more than $6.3 million with nearly $5 million given back to the community. For more information, visit the Web site at www.unitedwayrrv.org.
