Ethnic Heritage Museum salutes Italian artists

Museum to showcase work of local Italian artists through the end of November

The Ethnic Heritage Museum is showcasing the works of Rockford Italian artists the entire month of November. Multi-media art forms include: handcrafted, intricate fashioned copper; oils created in the form of Madonna and Child; magnificent 3-D work using the richest blues of the spectrum; gold ceramics from the ancient art of Japan; plus a representation from Boylan High School.

The Museum, 1129 S. Main St., is open Sundays from 2-4 p.m. Special tours are available by calling 962-7402 or 877-2888. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children younger than 12.
