After the day-before-Thanksgiving preparations, or even after the turkey has been cleared and the naps have been taken, some might be looking for more Thanksgiving entertainment in the evening hours. As most venues will be closed for the holiday, there are still a few things left to do on Wednesday and Thursday.

If sports is your way of relaxing after time with the in-laws, then the Midnight Turkey Soccer Tournament at the Indoor Sports Center on Thursday night is the event for you. The game starts at midnight, and there is free entrance. For more information, call 987-0500.

As for available entertainment/recreation on Thanksgiving Thursday in the downtown area, the Irish Rose will be open, bar only, from 6 p.m.-2 a.m. Bacchus Wine Bar will be open as well, bar only, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
