Now entering its second year after a highly successful debut in March, Wine & Roses: Savoring Memories is becoming one of Chicagos most popular fund-raisers. The event, benefiting the Alzheimers Association-Greater Illinois Chapter, will be Feb. 19 at W Hotel, Chicago City Center, 172 W. Adams in Chicago.
Wine & Roses will give attendees an opportunity to taste a variety of wines from participating wine-makers. Fine coffee and a martini bar will also be available, and delicious food stations will complement all beverages. The evening will be capped with both a live and silent auction, where attendees will have the chance to bid on various foods, wine and entertainment treasures from throughout the Chicago area.
Cost is $60 per person, $75 at the door. Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m., wine tasting, food stations and silent auction at 6 p.m., and grand toast and live auction at 7:30 p.m. Reservations and information: 847-933-2413, ext. 373, or visit www.alzheimers-illinois.org.
