The Annual EAA Chapter 22 Fly-In/ Drive-In Breakfast is set for Sunday, May 6, at the Courtesy Aircraft Hangar at Greater Rockford Airport, 5233 Falcon Rd., Rockford.
The event is open to the public and offers a great opportunity to see the sights and sounds of airplanes, enjoy a great breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast, juice and coffee, and support the local EAA Chapter.
Courtesy Aircraft is the worlds largest seller of Warbird Aircraft. Attendees can observe several World War II aircraft along with several other rare and collectible planes on display from 7 a.m. to noon, May 6.
EAA Chapter 22 was founded in Rockford in 1958 and was one of the earliest chapters formed within the association. Each year, this event brings nearly 1,000 people together to enjoy a great breakfast, support the local EAA Chapter and mingle with friends and aviators.
Price is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.
