Free advice on starting a business

Thought about being your own boss, but just don’t know where to begin? “Starting a Business?” is a two-hour training program specially designed for people who need a better idea about the personal and legal requirements necessary to open your own company.

Offered by the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Rock Valley College, “Starting a Business?” will give you the right information and answer all of your questions before you commit 100 percent of your time and money. Advanced planning is always a safer plan to success.

The “Starting a Business?” training session is from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Illinois Employment Training Center, 3134 11th St., Rockford. There is no cost, but seating is limited. Reservations are required. call 921-2081.
