Free nature photography presentation Jan. 14

The Four Winds Center for Spiritual Ecology will host a free public showing of David Olson’s multimedia presentation, “Our Vanishing Wilderness,” at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Ave., Rockford.

David C. Olson is an award-winning nature photographer whose stunning images of wildlife and landscapes throughout North America have been exhibited and published nationally. Olson makes his home in the Rock River Valley, and his subjects range from the native plants and animals of Winnebago County to the elusive wildlife and vistas of the Canadian Rockies. All ages will enjoy hearing Olson describe his photographic adventures as preface to this moving presentation of his photos set to music.

The presentation is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m. prior to the presentation. Call the church office at 963-4815 for lunch reservations and price.
