Freeport Driver Services Facility moves into new home

Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced the Freeport Driver Services Facility has moved to its new, permanent home at 1050 Riverside Drive.

The new facility offers state-of-the-art equipment and testing facilities, and provides the same services that were available at the former location.

“I am very proud to offer our customers great service in this beautiful, new facility,” White said. “Customer service remains a priority in my office, and this facility will be a perfect addition to the Secretary of State’s office.”

The new Freeport facility will offer the following: Address change, CDL renewal, CDL vision screening, CDL duplicate/corrected license, CDL written test, driver’s license first-time issuance, driver’s license renewal, driver’s license vision screening, driver’s license road test, duplicate/corrected driver’s license, motorcycle written test, motorcycle road test, organ donor registry, special license plates order, state ID card first-time issuance, state ID card renewal, duplicate/corrected state ID card, temporary disability placards, vehicle registration renewals/stickers, vehicle title and new registration, voter registration applications

The Freeport facility is on Riverside Drive between Countryside Furniture and Amerihost Hotel on U.S. Route 26 south of U.S. Route 20 Bypass. The facility’s hours are Tuesdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesdays-Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to noon. The facility is closed Mondays.
