Fund-raiser to help firefighters rescue pets

Chow down to a delicious dinner and help save a furry friend’s life! Come to the fund-raiser for “Breath of Life” Pet Recovery Fund, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Deb’s Little Italy, 501 E. State St., Rockford. It’s a mostaccioli dinner with cash bar.

Donation is $15 per person to purchase 115 sets of “Pet Recovery Oxygen Masks” for all fire departments and rescue vehicles in Winnebago and Boone counties. If you cannot attend, you may send a contribution to: National City Bank, 120 W. State St., Rockford, IL 61101. Make check payable to: “Breath of Life Pet Recovery Fund.”
