The 64-page guide will help identify 157 different trees found in the Western U.S.
Well-known trees profiled in the guide include oaks, maples, firs and pines. Also, included are species such as golden chinkapin and peachleaf willow, redbuds and redcedar, sycamore and saltcedar and sequoia and spruce.
Dozens of drawings illustrate the trees leaves or needles and their acorns, berries, seed pods, cones and other identifying features. What Tree Is That? is organized to make it easy to identify trees in a simple step-by-step fashion.
