Girls Scouts hire new camp director for Camp McCormick

Kelly Zagrodnik recently joined Girl Scouts—Rock River Valley Council as Camp Director for Camp McCormick. Kelly is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all camp programs and staff. She also hires staff for the summer resident camp program. Kelly comes to the Council with great camping experience. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and earned her master’s degree in Outdoor Recreation Administration from Aurora University. Kelly attended a Girl Scout camp, Camp Evelyn, in Plymouth, Wis., while growing up. She has had experience in all of the positions at camp, including program director. After college, Kelly worked for the American Camp Association as an intern. She also directed a high school adventure camp during the summer of 2004.
