Greenwich Village Art Fair names winners

Nationally-known artist Nina Weiss is an instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College, Chicago and Evanston Art Center. She was the 2007 juror at the Rockford Art Museum’s 59th Greenwich Village Art Fair Sept. 15-16. Her selections of winners are as follows:

Best of 3-D Functional ($500)—Michael Schael (Cambridge, Wis.)

Best of 3-D Non-Functional ($500)—Brenna L. Busse (Minneapolis)

Best of 2-D Medium ($500)—Scott Westgard (Buffalo Grove, Ill.)

Jewelry ($500)—Debra Dembowski (Milwaukee)

Photography ($500)—Bill Lemke (Waukesha, Wis.)

Painting ($500)—Gerard Erley (Rockford)

Honorable Mention ($100)—Michele Friedman and John Ames (Chicago)
