Historic Auto Attractions hosts Aug. 14 bike show

ROSCOE—Historic Auto Attractions, 13825 Metric Drive in Roscoe, will hold its first-ever motorcycle show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14. This is a free event; the museum will have a special price of $5 for everyone.

Chris Horvath, from Psychology Graphics, will perform airbrush demonstrations on bike art, and is widely recognized as one of the best artists around. The first 100 bikes will receive a Historic Auto Attractions Bike Show patch! Concessions will serve hot food and cold drinks; there will be picnic tables to sit and relax on, on the grounds.

This will be the first of two events at Historic Auto Attractions this year. The annual Lensing Autumn Classic Car Show will be Oct. 2. The idea of a bike show came from the car show when Historic Auto Attractions received numerous suggestions to cater to bike clubs. The company decided to host its own bike show in conjunction with a ride in from Renegade Classics in Janesville, Wis. There are plans to hold this event again next year.

For more information, call Eric Hoffman at Lefthander Chassis, (815) 389-9999, or the museum at (815) 389-7917.
