Wash away those dog days of summer at the Third Annual Saturn of Rockford Charity Dog Wash, Saturday, June 2, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Saturn of Rockford facility on Perryville Road in Rockford. All proceeds from this fund-raiser will go to the Humane Society of Winnebago County.

Cost is a donation of $10 for small dogs, $15 for medium dogs and $20 for large dogs. The dogs will be cared for by the staff from Pampered Pet Grooming, 1423 N. Main St., PETCO volunteers, Rockford Business College Vet Tech students and other community volunteers.

Treats will be given out to every dog receiving a wash. Purchase a chance to win “The Pampered Pooch” package (certificates for pet boarding, grooming, obedience, and food). Raffles, refreshments, doggy treats, t-shirts and pet-related items will be for sale. Hamburgers and hot dogs for the pet parents will also be for sale.

Kathleen’s Photography will be on hand to offer photos of your newly-washed pooch.
