No. 9 Illini tip off against the unranked Missouri Tigers at 7 p.m.
The Rockford Area Illini Clubs (RAIC) second mens basketball game watch of the 2005-06 season at Old Chicago features the Illini at home against the Missouri Tigers at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21.
The Illini, currently 11-0 overall, are ranked No. 9 in the nation, while the unranked Tigers are currently 4-3 overall. The Illini are in search of their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship game. Illinois finished the 2004-05 regular season 32-0 before losing to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Championship game last March. RAIC members gathered at Old Chicago Nov. 29 to watch the Illini hold off a late charge by the Tar Heels to claim redemption in a 68-64 victory on the court at Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Dec. 21 game watch against the Missouri Tigers will feature drink specials, Illini shirt giveaways, contests and prizes.
